Alexis chose her good boots today for a romantic date at a Pismo Beach restaurant. Her brand new Dior leather high heeled dress boots. They were early for their reservation so her date suggested a stroll on the beach so they could take some pictures. Apparently Dior didn't have the beach in mind when they designed their dress boots because the heel tips promptly came off causing the leather heel covering to be pushed up the shaft. Damaged anyway, it wasn't hard for her date to convince her to step closer to the water for some wet boot photos for this website....

These ruggedized high heels are perfect for tough terrain like this dog walk area with mud as well as floods. And how are these sexy dress boots ruggedized? Because they are already so abused the mud and rough terrain can't do any damage....

My brand new Manolo Blahnik Cutout Boots. These over the knee boots are the first ones ever that fit me so perfectly. They are so nice, the leather so soft and shiny. I get excited just thinking about wearing them....

A few candid photos of my new Gianmarco Lorenzi steel toe booties. I was told we were going to an art gallery opening. What they didn't tell me was that the art gallery was in a gravel lot. My feet were so tired walking on my toes the whole time trying to keep my new heels from getting ruined in the gravel....

I imagine I must have been attracting a lot of attention walking through the flooded parking lot in my sexy Ralph Lauren boots to get my packages back to my car. I'm sure the guys loved it. By the time I got back to my car my boots were wet and muddy. I'm sure the women loved watching me ruin my boots too....

My Ralph Lauren boots still look great. You may recall that I have gotten them a little wet but they dried up nicely. Today though, I wore them to go pick up some packages and it rained. A lot. And just my luck. They were doing construction in the parking lot. I end up walking through the construction and flooded parking lot....
